He has 25 years of practical experience and expertise in the field of Clinical Oncology.</span></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(109, 109, 109);">Prof. Akram has a very rich track record of working in different organizations in his career. Previously he performed as Chief Consultant, Clinical Oncologist in Lab Aid Specialized Hospital, Dhaka. He was Senior Consultant of Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital. He was the Founder, Professor and Chief Oncologist of NorthEast Cancer Hospital, Sylhet. Prof. Akram is also known for as he was the Founder Chairman of Oncology Department of BSMMU.</span></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(109, 109, 109);">Throughout his challenging career he has earned professional degrees which are MBBS; FCPS; WHO Fellowship from National Cancer Institute - Bangkok; KOICA Fellowship, National Cancer Institute - South Korea; WHO Fellowship on Medical &amp; Radiation Oncology, Tata Memorial Hospital - India; FRCP (Glasgow); FRCP (Edinburgh); FACP (USA); MRCR (UK). He has obtained numerous clinical trainings on Medical and Radiation Oncology from different world class institutions such as Tata Memorial Hospital (India), German Cancer Research Institute (Germany), National Cancer Centre (Singapore), Harvard University (USA).</span></p><p><br></p>
