He specializes in treating surgical diseases of the chest involving the lungs, mediastinum, Trachea (Windpipe), esophagus (food pipe), and diaphragm. He is recognized as an expert in the field of minimally invasive thoracic surgery like Video-assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS / Keyhole surgery) and Endoscopic Thoracic Surgery. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery through key-hole incisions (VATS) for lung and esophageal cancer. His another area of expertise is hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) treatment &amp; surgery. He regular performs endobronchial procedures and VATS.</span></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><span style="color: rgb(25, 135, 84); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Dr. S M Tajdit Rahman completed his MBBS in 2014 from Sir Salimullah Medical College and MS in Thoracic Surgery from the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest &amp; Hospital in 2022 becoming the youngest thoracic surgeon in the country. He also accomplished ChM General Surgery from the University of Edinburgh. He completed extensive clinical and research training on minimally invasive thoracic surgery at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital with ASCVTS (Asian Society of Cardio Vascular &amp; Thoracic Surgeons) fellowship. Dr. Tajdit also specializes in endobronchial procedures and surgery from Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad. Currently, he is working as a thoracic surgeon at the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest &amp; Hospital, Dhaka.</span></p><p><br></p>
