neonatal care and intensive newborn management. As the Adviser Specialist &
Head of Pediatrics at CMH Dhaka, she played a pivotal role in advancing
neonatal practices and fostering multidisciplinary team collaboration. During
her tenure as the Principal of Army Medical College Bogura, she excelled in
managing academic and administrative functions, fostering a culture of
excellence in medical education.
Her
early career included assignments at various Combined Military Hospitals (CMH)
across the country, where she specialized in Pediatrics and Neonatology,
improving health outcomes for countless patients. Her leadership and expertise
have consistently set benchmarks in medical service delivery.
Prof. Jesmin’s
impressive academic background includes an MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical
College, Barisal, and multiple postgraduate qualifications, including DCH and
FCPS (Paediatrics) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons
(BCPS). She also holds a Fellowship in Neonatology from the Armed Forces
Postgraduate Medical Institute (AFPGMI), Pakistan, and has undergone
specialized training in neonatal intensive care at the All-India Institute of
Medical Sciences (AIIMS), India.
